TOUR AND EVENT RULES

1. No occupants of any touring vehicle shall consume alcohol before or during any tour or event. Doing so will result in immediate expulsion.

2. All occupants shall wear seatbelts while underway. Parents of children shall provide and utilize appropriate child restraint and booster seats.

3. All touring vehicles shall be properly registered, insured and inspected.

4. No firearms shall be kept in any touring vehicle.

5. There shall be at least one person 18 years or older who will be responsible for each occupant in every guest’s touring vehicle.

6. All vehicles must meet a minimum level of capability appropriate for the particular tour. The Vermont Overland guide shall have complete discretion in deciding whether a guest’s vehicle is appropriate for a given tour. If a guest’s vehicle is deemed to lack sufficient capability, the guest will be prohibited from participating in that vehicle and will be refunded all tour charges.

7. All touring guests agree to abide by the principles of Tread Lightly.

8. With the exception of Paragraph 6 above, violation of any of these rules will result in immediate termination of the guest’s participation in the tour or event as well as forfeiture of all registration fees.

 

Cancellation Policy: Vermont Overland will refund all tour charges for tours and outings canceled prior to 24 hours before the scheduled tour time. However, tours and outings canceled within 24 hours of the tour time will be charged 50% of all scheduled tour costs.
