Hey
Peter,
I learned a lot, and even use simple tricks like downshifting now daily on
the Hills at Killington when it rains. 4x4ing is becoming an addiction!
Anytime you need me to come down and take pictures, I'd love to.
Peter and the rest of the team at Vermont Overland gave me the instruction
necessary to feel more confident off-roading. They teach you how to use your
vehicle's tools to successfully navigate the roads in less than ideal
conditions.
Thanks so much,
Liam Oliver

Dear
Peter,
Just wanted to drop you a line to thank you again for my amazing off-roading
training experience that you were able to provide for me, in preparation for
the 2008 Land Rover G4 Challenge. The whole event was experience of a life
time and I enjoyed every minute of it, continually wishing it was not over.
Your course in winching techniques put me ahead of the game for the last
event of the challenge. Winch your rig up the steep deep sand hill as fast
as you can, the whole time I was busting my ass in this event I was thinking
about what you taught me.
I would highly recommend that any one interested in 4x4 driving/training
take a lesson through Vermont Overland Guide Services. With Peter's many
years of technical driving experiences and knowledge. Mr. Vollers was able
to convert a total 4x4 novice into a capable responsible driver by the end
of his training program. My confidence in off road driving procedures and
rescue techniques were vital to my participation in the Land Rover G4
Challenge.

Peter,
This a
note to say thanks for an outstanding adventure yesterday. I have had
several off-road trips in the past 5 years and must say that you offered the
most enjoyable and comprehensive experience so far. Your professionalism at
all times combined with your easy going and supportive demeanor gave me
great confidence to "conquer all." I know you were keeping an eye on me at
all times as I saw you constantly peeking into your side view mirror to
follow my track and anticipate any potential trouble. Of course the
conditions were ideal: streams, rocks, mud, steep inclines and the need to
use a winch - precisely what we were hoping for. Everyone with a 4x4 should
take a trip with you at least one time to experience the thrill of
challenging off-roading and use the machine they paid for. Clearly there is
something for everyone. I eagerly anticipate a repeat visit. I wish you well
as you grow your business. It was our pleasure to meet you.
