A Quest for VERMONT CRAFT Beer

And not just any Vermont beer, but beer with soul brewed right in.  Beer made with passion and creativity, sometimes right in the backyard garden shed!  The purpose of VOBS is two-fold.  First, for those new to Vermont Overland, it's an introduction to our way of overland navigation in Vermont, not to mention a full primer on how to structure your overlanding excursions around amazing localvore stops!  Second, VOBS is a way to showcase what we feel is the best beer in the entire world.  Sure, we'll run you by old standbys like Long Trail Brewery, but what we're really into are the awesome nano-breweries tucked into the hillsides, the places off the beaten path where true innovation lies.   And it's not even all about the beer.  We now have local Vermont winery (yes winery!) destinations as well and even some local distillery stops.   Unlike VOR where it's more about the off-road excursions, VOBS is all about the localvoring.  Sure, we're still going to send you into the woods to really use your vehicles, but more with the idea of what's at the end of the trail than what's on it.
